Dustin Lee Hotson, 45 passed away on 10/1/14 in Gainesville, FL, after a battle with
Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. He had many friends from all walks of life, had a wonderful sense of humor,
he was kind, generous, and had an absolute zest for life, his friends and work. .
He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends.
Dustin's passion was art in many forms including ceramics, digital photography, silk screening, painting and sculpture. He was a "Jack of all Trades," a "Renaissance Man." Dustin worked as a stagehand in Jacksonville and surrounding areas. He was loved by his brothers and sisters in the union who he thought of as family. Dustin was a long time member of the IBEW Union and the IATSE local 115 & local 477 (Miami), representing technicians, artisans and crafts persons in the entertainment industry. He raced motocross from age 11-19, winning many trophies. Dustin graduated from Fletcher High School, received an AA degree in Art from FSCJ and attended UNF. He had a never ending quest for knowledge.
Dustin is survived by his mother and father, Janet & Kent Hotson, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A Celebration of Dustin's life will be held at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens 1701 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32250 on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 am (904)249-2374.
