Horseback riding at Mickler's Beach. After many complaints, the Horse Council came out and sized up the situation and concluded that Mickler's Beach is unsafe for horseback riding due to the large number of people there. So indirectly, the horse poop problem has been solved. The county is looking into another access point south of here for horses that is safer.

This is crazy! Im. Im not a horseback rider but horsebacking on the beach have been part of the history of this area since the beginning. Its one of the things that made it so unique. I would bet that the complaints came from people new to the area and do not even live in 32082. So tired of our lifestyle changing to fit others outside of 32082!

I hear you, Seth. It would be phenomenal if, instead of protecting the ability for new beach loungers to sit around, they'd protect the ability to ride horses from all the loungers.
