Event idea for Jarboe Park
We would like all pet lovers to join together at pet festival and parade “Pets in the Park” at Jarboe Park. Pets in the Park will be on a mission to educate, shelter, place and heal pets and their families with compassionate, responsible care, and funds raised from the event could go to pet charities that help save dogs and cats by providing shelter, care and love until they find their forever home.
ideas include fundraising Awards, Pet Costume Contest with celebrity judges and cash prizes (Themes like: Stars of Film & TV, Favorite Food, Dogs with Jobs). Participants and their furry family members invite their friends and family to join them for the special award ceremony, costume contest and festivities. Then, all attendees and their fur pals will enjoy a full day of both “human” and “canine” activities. Activities may include a dock diving for dogs, lure courses, a variety of local restaurant catered food,shopping, and plenty of pet adoption opportunities. Maybe a mobile vet unit on site to provide free vaccines to those who can't afford them.
