"All,
Please, if you read/watch anything, go to the bottom of this email. The first video I sent out three years ago about Seattle. The second one just came out about Seattle and is a follow up to the first one. If you have not watched the first one, please watch it; then watch the second one. They are long, but I challenge you to take some time, and watch. This is a local news station. It is incredible and hard to believe!
After extensive planning, we carried out the Orange Crush, TPC, and spring break events with no problems and no affects on the city other than heavy traffic. The weather was poor, which definitely contributed to the lack of activity.
We had our CALEA accreditation on-site (virtually) which occurs once every four years. We passed with flying colors, and we will be reaccredited officially in November in St. Louis.
We made two home invasion arrests from an incident that originally occurred in January. Detectives put together an awesome case. (See Facebook).
We continued to seize numerous guns and made numerous drug cases this month. (See Facebook).
We continued to work actively on our latest homicide.

I sent this to you three years ago. This was a local news cast special, “Seattle is Dying” and it was created before the riots, COVID, and the rise of violent crime around the country.
Last year, the same local news cast aired “The fight for the Soul of Seattle,” which is about 90 minutes (follow-up to the first one, but this is the end result and it is almost unbelievable).
Seattle was ground zero for the defund and decriminalize movement. Now they are offering a $25,000 bonus for police officers. There are very few takers. Seattle is not alone now. A must watch now in 2022.
